Francesca graduated from Wits University with a BSc (Physio) and has a post-graduate qualification in Orthopeadic Manipulative Therapy (OMT). She has 13 years of extensive clinical experience in treating musculo-skeletal injuries, neck and back injuries, sports injuries and has experience in corporate wellness.

Francesca qualified as a Pilates instructor in 2007 and incorporates this into her treatment sessions. She strongly believes on a hands-on approach and has qualified in Dry Needling (Western Form of Acupuncture), Kinesio taping methods as well as Fascial release.

Francesca continues to attend regular courses in her field to keep updated with the latest research.

She is also registered with the South African Society of Physiotherapy (SASP) and the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).

Over the years Francesca has established strong working links with many of the Sports Physicians, Orthopeadic surgeons and medical professionals.

Francesca’s approach to the treatment of patients is holistic with a strong emphasis on wellbeing and empowering patients to self-manage in all areas of their lives be it on the sports field, at home or in the workplace.

As a runner and keen athlete, she understands the frustrations of suffering a sports injury and this motivates her to get her athletes back on the sports field as soon as possible. Ultimately, the overall goal is an improved quality of life and prevention of further injuries and pain. Francesca is an advocate for the positive role that physical activity can have on an individual’s health and well-being.

 

Priya Dabhade

Senior Physiotherapist

BSc (Physio) Mumbai University, India.

Priya is a physiotherapist who graduated from Mumbai (India) University.

She moved to South Africa after her marriage and has settled permanently. She has worked in India as well as in South Africa.

Priya has both hospital and outpatient experience in urban settings. She is passionate about her work and believes in service to humanity through physiotherapy.

She is also registered with the South African Society of Physiotherapy (SASP) and the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).

Priya strongly believes in a hands-on approach and has qualified in the Dry Needling level-1 course (Western Form of Acupuncture), and Kinesio taping methods.

She believes in upskilling her skills by keeping updated with research and advanced techniques to help her patients.
